https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKuMtGSJ7BkHas anyone heard the full thing?M. Zimmer, don't forget to bring these talented musician to Montreal in Québec one day. Have a nice tour! What a great score.Very excited for this new recording.
I really, really hope he decided to become a less of an asshole towards his music.Should we take the lack of a composer on "Jason Bourne" as an indication that Greengrass just used a Powell temptrack for the whole thing? ;)You're saying there's a chance that the Affleck is Deathstroke rumor is legit? ;)Have to agree with you here. The action music, for the most part, is pretty fun when Junkie lets loose with the electronics (Maximum Effort, Twelve Bullets, Watership Down). I'll even say there are some genuinely pretty moments scattered throughout (Liam Neeson Nightmares, Face I would Sit On).<br><br>Unfortunately the biggest downfall of this soundtrack is a lot of the underscore. Junkie's strength definitely lies in his themes, but utilizing them is definitely not his strong suit. I would say half of the music functions well, while the rest kinda falls flat. And the biggest problem; the drums. The 80's style synth works amazing but is overshadowed by the Mad Max drums and strings.<br><br>Imo, JXL needs to leave his comfort zone and write for dramatic films. His string writing is some of the best out there, and his action music works when he doesn't fall into the same routine drums and pounding.Yeah well I just got through my first listen and I am kind of disappointed too... I feel like Maximum Effort and Twelve Bullets are the main two stand-out action tracks, but they're on the very short side and did not blow me away like Blood Bag, Brothers in Arms, Chapter Doof, The Bog, go on and on... Maybe Man in a Red Suit can be up there too, but honestly I did not hear a lot of memorable tracks first time round... Might change obviously, just my initial reaction. However, I would have preferred to have a lot more music from Junkie and less Tarantino-like 'soundtrack'. I mean, I don't know how the existing songs play out in the film as I haven't seen it yet, but I could have done without some of those songs. And I don't know if it's my headophones (I hope not :) ) but it sounds like the album is mastered too loud so sometimes there is clearly some distortion/clipping going on. Could be intentional but it kind of starts to bother me. I'm going to try some other sound systems to verify this.
in "Is She With You?" at around 2:30, does anyone hear similarities to The Dark Knight trilogy music? This is a one star score... So disappointing :(I went to his first concert a year and half ago in London and it was amazing. i wish to see him playing in Dubai or EGYPT under the pyramids.<br>i will definitely attend either the Dublin or the Vienna one.Because the OST is ready for a while, and WaterTower was probably stocking its files online on the sourcecode of the website or something, and someone found the correct address to download them...<br><br>There's ALWAYS someone smarter...<br><br>I don't have it, though ! I'd like to ! But yeah the track is real. lolHybrid, do you say that because you THINK it is legit, or because someone official confirmed it to you? In the latter case, how is it even possible that the OST leaked so long before the release? Did you get any explanation?
Stop torturing yourselves, it IS legit...The OST may not be available however that doesn't mean it's not registered with the RIAA. Use your brain. It's exactly the same duration on the album. Maybe it's not a reason but it doesn't look like a fake. It might be."Shazam and YouTube confirmed its legit."<br><br>How would they know it's legit if the OST isn't even available?Considering USA can't view the leaked track due to copyright claims, I'm going to say it's a legit track.

Wanted to say...King Arthur's soundtrack is, in my opinion, one of your best works. Powerful, full of depth, incredible!! It gave me chills. Love it.
Great great job.

Hi

I came to the site because I admire your music so much. I bought The Pacific soundtrack and find that the music still evinces the sadness and grandeur of that series. Music can access the emotions so quickly and profoundly - if it's done right!

I guess you don't need the admiring comments of total strangers, but I have enjoyed putting down these remarks.

Thanks for the wonderful music.

Thank you for the "Holiday" soundtrack. I just went through chemotherapy for breast cancer and I was getting ready to have a CT scan so I can start radiation this morning. No worries, they caught it early :-). But getting back to the soundtrack. It is in my top 3 movies so naturally I LOVE the soundtrack. I get panic attacks so the thought of the CT scan was almost paralyzing. But before I went in today I played "Anything Can Happen" and "Definitely Unexpected" on my iPod and felt calm and relaxed and did not have an episode. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me through this. I am positive and inspired because of your music.

Dear Hans,

If this is your official site - I just wanted to say thank you. For creating such inspiring music, for giving aural life to so many great movies. Not that your music require any visual experience to give them substance. Each and every track you produce is a work of art in its own right. They give me goosebumps, and that is my measure of greatness.

Thanks
Dane

I'm a fan of Hans Zimmer and his music. I don't know if you guys have real contact with him, but if you do please let him know this. In Chile, my country, there is a television serie called "Primera dama"... it sucks. It aired on "canal 13" (channel 13) around 8 pm, the story is crap but what I hate most is that they use Zimmer's music on the show, like from "modern warfare 2", "the dark knight" and others. I'm pretty sure they don't pay for copyrights.
Congrats on the webpage, it's very good.
Gretting from Chile.

Dear Hans, and the whole team!

I would like to give all of you a really big R.E.S.P.E.C.T.
I had know at the Batman Begins that you are some kinda masterpiece-generator machine, but at the TDK and now, the Inception OST…

I have to say: you made my life better with your amazing, fascinating, dark, cold, strong, genius, new and (in some part, like the Joker themes) experimental music. That is the real music. Really, thank you. Oh, and of course, you made all of the movies better. When in the TDK, at the „Then you’re gonna love me” scene… Man, that’s incredible!

I really don’t know what to say, you gave me some much emmotions. I know The Dark Knight soundtrack like my own hand. Thank you.

All of you.

Respect. You are really artists.

Benjámin Terdik, from Hungary

Hans Zimmer, hows it going. My name is Marque, upcoming actor/screenwriter. Thelma and Louise, best soundtrack ever. I'm writing a script something like that and when its done, I would like a theme song like "Thunderbird". Themes can make the movie and the actors, it was the theme that "made Brad Pitt" he owes you big time.zachdaemon@live.com

One may only experience the sublimely beautiful nature of the ugly truth, when one chooses to fully perceive & accept the blinding beauty which attracts us to lies. Hans scores remind me of what my brain may feel like in the minutes or seconds before a plane crashes into the ground. Not fear, but sensory overload, I think many times it detracts from the secret truths, hidden in plain sight in these films. IE Titanic, The Aviator, The Departed, Blood Diamond, Shutter Island, Inception, BM Begins, BM Dark Knight, to name a few of my favorite. (Not all Zimmer Scores, but they all tell a linear tale of super secret conspiracy)
