I liked the theme, so I'm quite curious to hear it in his long version.

And... "Fifty shades of Red" ?^^Well actually there's Shark Tale (though it was mostly done by Geoff Zanelli & Trevor Morris lol) which is terrible (following the path of the movie lol)...

And I'm not a HUGE listener of some of his rom com stuff like It's Complicated...

But no, there isn't a HZ where I'm in pain listening... Was relistening I'll Do Anything yesterday, didn't remember it much, and it's a good one... :)Wow.Lorne returns to the same arena he explored in ASSASSIN'S CREED III.Anonymous, to be frankly honest, I've never seen a single movie scored by HZ where I thought "shit, the music was out of place, I didn't like it". Not a single one. It doesn't mean I'm playing every single HZ score on repeat, but I think that inside the movie they all work extremely well.

But yeah, actually, MOST of them are still working insanely well without the picture :-pSo let me get this straight, unless someone loves EVERYTHING that Hans Zimmer has EVER DONE, good or bad, he is just an idiot with a "lame" web site? Wow, you are unbelievable. Does the term "finatic" or "groupie" mean anything to you? Are you really trying to say there is absolutely nothing that HZ has ever done that you dislike?
They return: Hans and BalfeThere's a new track by Zimmer and someone called Davide Anselmi. The track is called Overture and can be purchased on iTunes, Amazon or Spotify!Pluto, you said it well. I can't quite say how much I thought Interstellar would get a better score on the site, but now I'm completely convinced that Zimmer will be doomed to 2-star ratings from now on. :P I was at least expecting him to hate MOS, TASM, and Batman, for example, but I wasn't expecting this. But I will be expecting it now, regardless of the project.

And in the end, Hybrid's right—the man has one opinion, and it doesn't affect others' opinions. But it definitely comes across as biased.Btw, he gave Gladiator 3 stars (!), for both "as written for the movie" and "as presented on album", but for some reason nominated it for best score that year, although it couldn't possibly have been in the top 40.
And how do you even define "great"? By your personal opinion or critical and public acclaim since Angels & Demons definitely isn't acclaimed but Inception is.Lol, I've been waiting for this a long time now. His reviews are hilariously bad! :D
Okay great! Too bad Hans didn't do much on this one...Lol, Hybrid. :D I wonder how many composers Hans could sue for ripping him off.
However, this Friedman guy now gets more attention than he has ever gotten, so it's a win for him even if it doesn't go to court. We shouldn't care at all.
Well what to say, the famous composer of Ticking Clock and Max Havoc: Curse of the Dragon has been plagiarized by Hans Zimmer, who has been waiting 10 years to finally find the right time to use his masterpiece cue in 12YAS...

LOLIt is in The Netherlands: h t t p://open.spotify.com/album/3oHiQwIBkONOyB6FHNvpPHAlways that same shitty argument, "But look, he liked THIS score ! So he's OBJECTIVE !" And he can trash everything else... :)

Please...

I don't care about reviews, critics & stuff, if people are stupid enough to not make their own idea of something, that they need the enlightment of the IFMCA or so called "reviewers", it's not my problem...

You're giving this guy way too much importance... He's the lame owner of a lame site crying every once in a while to attract some money for his dying website, and the only way he has to attract clicks is to cover HZ's stuff, while he could focuse on so much better scores, according to him...
No it's not om Spotify...The album is on Spotify already :)www.tmz. com/2015/01/23/12-years-a-slave-soundtrack-lawsuit-stole-mus ic-hans-zimmer/ what do you guys think of this? Just listened to both clips provided in the article and there a very little similarities in my opinionClemmensen has given nearly all of Hans' really great past scores (such as Gladiator, Crimson Tide, The Last Samurai, King Arthur, The Peacemaker, Angels and Demons, and even the lessor known ones like Invincible, The House of Spirits, Cool Runnings, etc. etc.) at least four stars and some five. How can you say he hates HZ?

I don't think he is being purposefully unfair towards Hans, he, just like myself and a couple others on this board just didn't really care for Interstellar and also for some of his more recent experimental ambient scores. I think Clemmensen really summed up the issue with Interstellar when he wrote "[Interstellar] is a "...predictably ambient series of repetitive crescendos". My sentiments exactly. Why does a person have to be trashed because they have a different opinion?

Now I'm sure all the "we-love-everything-Hans-Zimmer-ever-did-and-you-better-agre e-with-us" fanatics are going to attack me, so go ahead get it over with.wait what, people still read reviews? I thought those days were long gone, you can just listen to everything on youtube and decide whether its worth the money or not....

Hey Mr. Zimmer,
My name is Garrett and I am a huge fan of your work. Your music inspires me to say the least and it would absolutly be incredible if you were able to read this in your very limited spare time. I'm a 15 year old highschool student and it would mean so much to see your written score for At Wit's End on the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest soundtract. I have written some short pieces of music and am in the middle of writing a choral. It has been my dream to arrange some of your briliant pieces for band. I play the trumpet in school at the moment and am also taking music lessons for piano. I don't want to give you my life story here but if you had a couple of minutes out of your day to email me a response or anything I would be ecstatic. My email is: garrett626@hotmail.com.
Thx for your time Mr. Zimmer,
Garrett

hey mr Zimmer,
as you can see, my name`s Freddy and I`m from Germany. Several days ago I watched the fantastic movie Sherlock Holmes and was totally amazed of the soundtrack, which you composed. Absolutely awesome.
Right now I`m searching for the sheet music of discombobulate and hope I`m gonna find it.
Well, keep on with this great work and I hope you`ll win an oscar!

Don´t make the music for Part 2 of Sherlock Holmes(maybe there will be a second part everywhen), they should make the second "movie-part" for your music. I hope you know i meen :-)

Hello Mr Zimmer
After over 3 years of searching for the sheet music notation to your score 'injection' which I find to be a beautiful & moving piece of music.

I'm on the verge of giving up looking & I found what I can only call a tiny spark of hope in this last request, in that somehow, someday, you might read this & bless me with the notation to the masterpiece.

The reason I am asking is purely for the purposes of looking in to your way of thinking & artistry in hope that some day (with my present limited composing skills) I can be in league with you & know what it feels like to bless the world with the gift such as which you possess.

My email is:
Dannyravenhall@live.co.uk
I would be forever in your debt if you could just bless me with my strongest desire to view your work on paper.

Thank you for your time

Looking forward to your next work very much

I just wanted to say to Mr. Zimmerman that he made the best damn soundtrack for anything that I have come across in my years when he did the sound track for Modern Warfare 2.

I would dearly love to see the entire score of Batman Begins performed live! I bought the CD after watching the movie several times. I can see the orchestra in my head..every violin..horn..drums..it is the Rachmananoff of movie sound tracks! I love it!
Any chance of a live concert of this anywhere, anytime? I live in Asheville, North Carolina..USA so going to Belgium is not an option. It is on my 'bucket list'..many thanks for a reply.

I loved the soundtrack to "It's Complicated." It was a painting in the background.
I need to see the movie again just to hear the music only. A movie has so many facets
to bring out all the colors of the rainbow. Your music is the rainbow of our lives

If "The Hahnenkamm-Race" ever needs a score - Zimmer is first call - Just extend the "Sherlock Holmes" end credits

You really threw down on the end credits for Sherlock Holmes - the final modulation coming out of the first cue that leads to the Irish ditty was absolutely fantastic.

Hans, I have been following your music since Gladiator and I even have "for Nancy" as a ringtone on my Iphone. What can I say, since I have that ringtone I smile inside everytime I get a call. Call me crazy but are the little things in life that makes it worthwhile... I have been finding myself looking, when a new movie trailer appear, the Music Composer credit to see if it is you: Now: It's complicated!
Thank you for your music... makes people like me very happy.

Hans,

Fellow composer here. You're pretty much the grandfather of the "BIG" hollywood sound. Much respect to you... I'm curious, did someone clone Steve Jablonsky after you,,, every theme I've ever heard of his mimics one of your themes... either from gladiator (the island) transformers (pearl harbor/the island) and those are the only two OST's i can think of coming from him. however... is this a bastard son we never knew about??? You're a good man
