Too bad it isn't in the cd, there was room for it... Pass the message to whom it may concer<br>Dear Mister ZIMMER<br><br>I've been a longtime fan of yours for a longtime (french fan i must say), and a soundtracks fan too (goldsmith,Horner, Elfman and so on) / I'm writing here just to express my amazement (is that word right in english ?...lets just say i know the word "amazing but seeing a Z in amazement seems strange to me) so to express my amazement at your work for the Sherlock Holmes Movie soundtrack. I've just seen the movie two days ago and though i can say i have an ear for soundtracks composers (i like to guess who) i didnt recognize u at all of all the movie until ur name went on the screen at the end.<br><br>The score was a total shock, music fit to the XIX, violin for the detective, and the mix of Irish music and a sort of gyspsy music though gypsy is not the word i was looking for (in french we're speaking of Tzinganes but i dont know if its the same word) music from the east...well it was outstanding...<br><br>I have but only one regret and it is for the CD soundtrack released : poor. there are some sections of the movie I cant find on the CD. score music, irish music....lets just say that once again, buying the stuff and being disapointed makes u feel like you're part of the what i call suckers buyers.<br><br>where s the need to release a CD if not for having what u heard during the movie in its entire part. and not having to wait for a release of an "extra/bonus/complete/unrealesed/special/never heard CD<br><br>ahhhhhh these french people.....they are always complaining about something !<br><br>Anyway apart from the CD comments /// outstanding score, i was thrilled, thank you !<br><br>From Paris With Love ! thankyou sir
