I have one of the CD-s from the Lion King, but I also would really love to have this full soundtrack version.I hope they place it on sale :) This was one of the best sountrack Ive ever heard. Hans Zimmer - you are god of music :) Oh, I see! Sorry I didn't notice, but I should have though about that when I read the "fx" part. Sorry again XD

Thanks anyway! :) This is a bootleg release, so you can't get it officially. It also uses a lot the Angels & Demons choirs... :P

I like Margeson's rendition of We Wish You A Merry Christmas ! :P Exccellent score, it gives the game just that extra spark that makes it such a great game, hope to hear more of hans' musical skills in upcoming games

greets,

Jos de Jager
I saw Inception yesterday and was absolutely mind-blown, not just by its apparent complexity but also by the beautiful and intense soundtrack that accompanied every scene. Each track captured the essence of each scene extremely well, and I applaud Hans Zimmer for yet another commendable soundtrack. :) HAHA WOW Panties are women's underwear, not another term for pants. Basically I was telling you to relax but clearly you're too much of an idiot to understand that. I also wouldn't like to meet you on the street either. Awesome!!!!!! I love it!!! i love this soundtrack! its absolutely beautiful and adds a whole other dimension to the movie, i was amazed. for my hsc music musicology project i wanted to analyse a few of the pieces, i was wondering if anyone could tell me what some of the more abstract timbres were and which synths were used because some are hard to distinguish, i could've sworn there's the sound of a spinning top in "waiting for a train" Anyone knows where to find this one? Haha! This stuff is really great! Carols in a more mature version of his SOCOM style. It's epic in a very serious sense, but at the same time it's so over the top it makes me laugh. I love it. I just wish the synth orchestra was a little less synthy. It's pretty good quality, but when the orchestrations thin out it distracts me a little from the quality of the compositions.
I just saw this on the Position music site yesterday and now it's posted here. Crazy. So the plans to make this a commercial release didn't work out? I Like Making Covers To Albums... They're Soo Much Fun!!!! Even This One Wasn't That Bad. Did you see the two other SOCOM Albums which also contains music by them?:) don't wear any pants? wouldn't like to meet you on the street . . . *LOL* What do you mean by "get your panties in a bunch"? never heard that and do not wear any pants for that matter... This is a bootleg release so you can't officially buy it.

    2010/01/16 - Otto

    I love this soundstrack! I am primarily a rock music fan, but I listen to The Thin Red Line at least once a week.
    Beautiful!!

    2009/12/12 - Jafs

    Best work of the man !

    2009/12/03 - P.

    @Skyler

    Yes, I heard "Beam" early on in "Public Enemies" as well. The director, Michael Mann, is a big fan of Terrence Malick, who directed "The Thin Red Line." They've shared at least four actors (Colin Farrell, Christian Bale, Christopher Plummer, Wes Studi) and the Elliot Goldenthal score to "Public Enemies" sounds a lot like "Thin Red Line."

    @Eric

    Any luck finding sheet music?

    2009/11/01 - creasy

    No, it's not. It is on Klaus Badelt Music For Films (2001) [Promotional Release]

    2009/10/02 - JM

    Hi everyone

    I think I have the same question as:

    ****2007/11/28 - Darren

    Is the instrumental song at the beginning of the film just after Whit talks to the Melanesian woman with the baby on the soundtrack?****

    It's an instrumental version of Jisas Yu Holem Hand Blong Mi.

    I need to find it!

    2009/09/26 - Levente

    Enrico is right. The extract is not from the CD but from a promotional material from Klaus Badelt. See here: http://www.hans-zimmer.com/fr/newsite.php?rub=detail&id=493

    As you can see the track is number 7. And it was used in the films trailer.

    2009/09/25 - Lee

    Nice joke :)

    2009/09/25 - Enrico

    What kind of track on the CD is the "Extract" please? I've the original CD but I've never listened this track...
    Thanks...

    2009/09/23 - Eric

    Hi,
    I'm looking for the Light sheet for the Thin red Line (piano only). I can't find any reseller, nor indications that it is available somewhere and especially in France where I leave.
    I saw also the excellent pianist Vestard Shimkus played it on Youtube last year.
    But really, I don't want to ask a CD or trade anything. I just desperate to find and BUY it.

    Any idea would be really welcome
    Thank you so much in advance for your reply

    Does anybody know where lyrics of "god u tekem..." can be found?

    2009/08/03 - safarikas

    In the movie, we can also hear the song "Jisas yu holem hand blong mi", why didn't they put it on the CD? Also, does anyone know where we can get the lyrics of this song, as well as of "God yu tekkem laef blong mi"?
    For those who don't have the CD but would like to listen these, you can find them at ###

    2009/07/14 - Skyler

    Did anyone else notice that part of "Beam" was briefly used in Public Enemies towards the beginning of the movie?

    2008/12/30 - Klaas

    Why is it so hard to read.

    In english please!

    2008/12/27 - Julien Brunet

    Le but a alors été atteint : l'emphase n'est que l'empreinte de l'émotion. Ce que j'entends par perfection, c'est le sentiment d'être à l'écoute d'une oeuvre unique, limpide et claire comme de l'eau cristal, des notes qui donnent du sens à l'image. C'est une musique à ne jamais déprécier, une musique qui je l'espère sera par tous appréciée. Ce film rassemble, sa musique unie.

    2008/02/08 - x123

    If you read the booklet you would have also seen this information...

    2008/02/08 - Jack

    I found some informations concerning the tracks:

    - Track 1 & 4 contain adaptation of the traditional song "Christian Race";
    - Track 5 "Beam" is composed by John Powell with Francesco Lupica;
    - Track 11 is composed and performed by Francesco Lupica.

    Can anyone confirme that?
