Up was very well done,<br>I like the Avatar score, however, Horner copies himself a lot... Hope for Inception and/or Batman 3 (but released later, no?)... A Single Man was definitely the best score of the year. Up was gonna win no matter what. Hu... I'm not really a fan of Michael Giacchino. I listened the Star Trek score, has Up's and others and, finally, he stays really "classic", and reminds me a little the Howard Shore of the begins. I loved Sherlock Holmes and Hurt Locker's scores, but congratulation to Mr Giacchino : an Oscar is hope for a better work later.<br> And I'm happy Horner didn't cought the award : his Avatar seems part copyed from Zimmer's work and John Williams' (like every of his works, we'll say)...<br><br> Again, congratulation to the nominees (who are important in the film music "industry"), and to Michael Giacchino.<br><br> Now, I'm waiting Inception's score...<br> Ho, and Henri 4 is this evening on TV... In France, yeah (I'm French, too). :D Hi....am your Big fan....n enjoying ur music...n..coming to..L.A..with mr.a.r.rahman..to perform...eagerly waiting to see you....bless you..luv..naveen.. Oh please release a CD for this soundtrack, I would love to own a copy! Beautiful music and one of the best game scores I've ever heard in my 15+ years of gaming.
