2008/05/09 - Dawn Mgbube's kidding. The creator of the petition gently asked him not to corrupt the petition but he's somewhat deaf to other opinions, it sounds like comedy. Let him alone with his non-sense. Is there anybody here who can remove his posts since they are irritating everybody and critical for a commercial release of the The Lion King Complete Score ?
All of us at hans-zimmer.com laugh at unknown guy mgbube

2008/05/08 - Robby W In response to Will Scott, dated 2007/11/02--here is the first verse to Little Ducks from the soundtrack of Crimson Tide:
Eternal Father! strong to save, Whose arm doth bind the restless wave, Who bid’st the mighty ocean deep Its own appointed limits keep;
O Saviour, whose almighty word, The winds and waves submissive heard, Who walkedst on the foaming deep, And calm amid its rage didst sleep; Oh, hear us when we cry to Thee, For those in peril on the sea! Amen.
2008/05/08 - the whining dude Hey, why don't you release this score! COME ON!
2008/05/08 - Ruthlessgravity I wouldn't say much about the expanded, the only thing expanded much is the "Back At Su-Chou Prison" which for me is new. And a longer cue for "Training" which is the repeat for "Training Montage" best track on the score.
The "Spies" "Dinner Out" and "Operation Dinner Out" can be found on the original soundtrack. On here there just seperated.

2008/05/07 - dan UPDATE: Hans is finished with dark knight and will most likely work on Madagascar 2 for his next project. Later at the end of the year, maybe his last film that he will score for 2008 will be The Inhabited Island (Russian film).

2008/05/07 - Patrick This music has such substance and depth to it, and a beautiful variety of melancholy themes Which are utilized so well by lonely woodwind instruments and stirring vocals. It’s the most played soundtrack in my collection. The nature of this music never ceases to amaze me. It’s as though the score were from another world, other time. And so thought provoking and beautifully wistful. It defines so many elements for me and transcends the mind, I have been collecting film scores since I was 16, now aged 27 and still this score continues to captivate me like no other. It’s up there with Morricone’s the mission in my opinion. Outstanding effort Hans, if by some dark miracle you read this. I just want to say that I really appreciate the true quality of music you bring to life and the hard work you put into it. I have many of your great scores. And I hope in the future for an expanded release of Beyond Rangoon, there’s so many other great stirring pieces from the film.
2008/05/07 - Feared Great music, great interview! Just give us the cd ASAP :)
2008/05/07 - I wish you the best of luck with the petition. This is a score that truly deserves to be released.
2008/05/07 - Arthur C Track 1 is: Masterful. Dynamic. Rhythmic. It lives in my CD player. I get chills every time I listen. I would love to look at the score. Do I hear 7/4? Best ever use of 5/4 meter.
2008/05/07 - shaadp for those that are unaware of the source of this video, a dvd is available if you purchase the pirates trilogy collector's set, which includes all three soundtracks and some bonus soundtrack material, and dvd. the bonus soundtrack material includes music that never made it to the big screen, and music that never made it in on the soundtrack. as hans scores for these movies, he writes entire suites, ranging from 5-15 minutes or so, with the main theme presented several different ways. his suites are absolutely amazing, and i only question why bruckhiemer or verbinski never let them make it to the screen. but some of his best material is on the bonus/remix cd included in this pack. there is also dvd coverage with interviews with hans and his production team, along with this concert.
