Hello, first of all sorry my english, i´m portuguese and if you now someone portuguese it´s more better to understand my e-mail. My father Fernando Girão is a musician fabolous, he has many cd, and a talent "unique", he play´s underful song´s and write even better the lyric´s.

I watched the movie Madagascar 2 yesterday and noticed that there were a lot of instrumental songs not on the soundtrack? Are these non commercial songs or what? are they on a different soundtrack?

I've loved movies since I was born and your scores are truely the essence of most remarkable and unforgettable scenes. You own a real gift. When I close my eyes and listen to your work I feel all emotions one could feel. I have recorded many of them and they give me stregth to wake up every day. They've helped me through tough times. Thank you for presenting humanity with your music implented with spirituality. If you ever come to Brazil, you will feel the warmth the Brazilian people have for you. Mr. Zimmer,
Just wanted to tell you that you are an extremely talented guy. The movies I've seen that you have done the score for are amazing. They help push the movie from something good/ok/great into something fantastic. The music complements the mood and setting and pretty much whatever is going on in the movie so well. I am a particular fan of the action movies you have done like Broken Arrow, The Rock, Dark Knight, the Gladiator score was absolutely beautiful. Big fan, keep doing what you are doing.

My name is Diego Aldonza Crespo and I am a percussionist from Spain, really passionate about your music, specially one of your later releases "Batman - The Dark Knight". I have always wished to play soundtracks music, because I think it's the next natural step of classical music, and it talks about modern life.
I finished my Bachelor studies in Zaragoza (Spain), and I have a percussion duo with wich I have performed a lot of concerts including Bach music, tango pieces, Zivkovic duos... but it was always too tipical. So listening to your music I had a great idea that would allow me to achieve one of my dreams!! And it is to make some arrangements of your music for duo and electronics, including Midi sounds and tape. I'm writting because I would like to know what you think about it and because counting with your support would be great. I know it sounds very crazy and probably you will never read this, but I hope you understand that I had to try!!

My name is Torsten Gran-Ruaz. First and foremost I just wanted to say that I really love your work, and it has inspired me to want to do film composing. I live on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada and I play mostly guitar and piano. I know that the road to a musical career is a difficult one but I am willing to work as hard as I possibly can to make it happen. I am currently in grade 11 at high school, but I am planning on going to Humber College/University in Toronto for a bachelor's degree in contemporary music. I was inspired to contact you when I heard about Ramin Djawadi, because he seems to have been in a similar situation (guitar player, written for bands, etc) and I heard that he was helped greatly by you to achieve his goals. I was wondering if you could recommend maybe some schools or paths I could take to one day perhaps be taken under your wing, or if you're too busy, if maybe there's someone else who could help me out that you could recommend. Again I love your work and thank you for helping to inspire me! I understand that you're a very busy man, and it would be a treat to hear from you.

Love Hanz Zimmer, I think his best stuff for me personally was the Broken Arrow OST.
certain parts are so chilling, I know a big part of it is the choir, but the way it goes from calm to chaos is really engaging.
Germany should be so proud.
