how to get trailer
does anybody know how to get trailer without music? I personaly prefer to score trailer.
I know this is unusual because of companies like X-Ray Dog.
Anyway, i wan't to improve that more, but it seems to be impossible to get trailer without music. I could just cut the whole Audio track, but i want to have voices and effects.
Help!

Maybe you can find videos without music on sites like:
www.youtube.com
www.dailymotion.com
Not trailers, but at least, there is effects and voices as you want.

I made a couple trailers from scratch for my DVD demo, and I had the same concerns as you. I ended up using little of the actual movie audio, except for select scenes where the original score wasn't present, or relatively low in the mix. I got by with that method, and it worked really well.
See for yourself:
The Island Trailer
P.S. - It's a fairly big Quicktime file that might need 5 mins to pre-load or so.
Pain is temporary, music is forever.
