And to clarify, I rent the game recently and I watched the credits and its says that HGW wrote the theme, but Barton did the whole score.

But even with just a theme, I find it weak compared to other themes we are used to get from the guy, and compared to other themes used in other games similar to that one.

Maybe he'll do better or was too busy with MGS4. ;)

No, it isn`t. :(

It is a rip, so no.

So there is no way to get the rip?

That's a game rip, not an official release. The only officially released tracks are on Infinity Ward's site. I don't think we'll be seeing a release of this score, but hopefully I'm wrong.

It is off of the hans-zimmer.com site. I think their is 61 songs. Here is the link: http://www.hans-zimmer.com/fr/disco_detail.php?id=722

There are ratings for it but I am not sure how to listen to it. I know that they will most likely release th COD4 soundtrack but this seems like a more complete one. I am just wondering how to get it or at least listen to all of those songs.

First off, What site are you refering to man?

83 minutes could be some sort of game-rip, maybe a promotional complete score. But game-rip is most likely the case imo.

Awesome cover Kayasavas! Just one suggestion here. The text for the composers bit is a bit too large. It'd be better if you make it smaller; you know like the covers we see from factory-pressed CDs. Other than that, fantastic job! :zbigok:

Well...the game is really good, but the score is average. Sounds like rejected cues from Spy Game and the electronic from Man On Fire/Phone Boot/Domino/Deja Vu. Could have been good, but sounds very uninspired to me. :( Doesn't worth a release IMHO.

Maybe it's missing some of the best cues (haven't played the whole game yet). What do you think?

Also, since I really hate the artwork the site has up for the bootleg I thought I'd create my own. If anyone else wants it, help yourself. While Harry did do his part for this score I think it's unfair to give him top billing and ignore Stephen.

Infinity Ward has put a soundtrack sampler up online streaming as MP3 through Quicktime. Get 7 tracks of the score officially from their site.

1. Coup
2. War Pig
3. Cobra Down
4. Shockwave & Aftermath
5. Zakhaev's Exchange
6. We'll Be Dead In Ten
7. Don't Call Me Shirley

http://infinityward.com/modernwarfare/

They start at the bottom and are scattered throughout. I just right click and "save target as" with IE or "save link as" with Firefox. Should give you the MP3 file.

There's a video of CoD 4, the music definitely sounds HGW, especially the last seconds !
